Cage #

Description

41/43

This sweet little boy looks kind of like a Jack Russell Terrier mix. He's a pup, maybe 3 to 4 months old, all black and has whiskers and longer eyebrows and tufts of hair on his feet. His coat is slightly rough but he loves to snuggle.

Very sweet boy who is hoping for a new home where he can be the little Prince. Shouldn't grow to be much over 20#, if that.

This little guy is becoming so lonely and afraid at the shelter. He will tremble and run to the back of the cage but responds well to kindness and loves to be carried around and kissed on.  Please consider him for your new family member?

VERY URGENT!!    AVAIL TO RESCUE FRIDAY AUG 15th  NOW!!

42/44

THIS SWEET LITTLE GUY WAS TAKEN INTO NATIONAL BRITTANY RESCUE  ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 22! HE IS SO HAPPY TO HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE!

THANK YOU JULIE !!

45/47

For all who inquired, the elder blonde/cream girl was adopted 8/20!! To her adopters THANK YOU!!

Now in this cage is a possible purebred Shih TTzu(sp) female who's older as well. Very thin, probably weighs about 5#, she's a lovely little tannish/blonde color and afraid but sweet. She would have been content to have me carry her around all day, if I had been able to. She can't go home until Sat (She needs her shots) but please come see her soon?

Avail to rescue  Wednesday, Aug 27th, but probably won't last that long.

46/48 The picture shows three but only 1 is left, I think a female. These adorable pups are a Lab/Shepherd mix and so snuggly! Golden and cream colored, they're about 8-10 weeks old.

Hmmmm....Still here! They were owner surrenders on Aug 14th

AVAIL TO RESCUE THURSDAY AUG 21st NOW!!

51/53 I just realized today that the picture that was here was NOT of the right dog. I am unsure what happened to the dog who's picture was here. The boy that is in this cage is a lovely boy, about 6 months old. He is a Yellow Lab mix, his ears are a bit smaller, so maybe mixed with Shar Pei? He looks kind of Houndy, though and is such a big baby, about 30 to 35#, he likes to be carried and sit on your lap. Not  hyper but loves to lope around outside. I feel horrible about the wrong picture, poor little boy! He is golden all over, with a lighter area on his chest. He has a very sweet expression and semi golden eyes.

VERY VERY URGENT!! AVAILABLE TO RESCUE TUES AUG 19th NOW!!!

54/56

What a pretty boy (but don't tell him I called him "pretty") Unsure of his mix, he's listed as a Keeshond/Chow mix but I don't think he has Chow in him. About 30 - 35#, fluffy and golden/blonde. Young adult, he's friendly and ready for his new home ASAP!

This guy is an adult, maybe around 2 or 3 years old? He's playful and pretty, has a few mats on the back of one of his front legs but his other legs are plumed. Friendly little guy!

URGENT!! AVAIL TO RESCUE TUESDAY AUGUST 19TH  NOW!!

THANK YOU KATHY!!

62/64

This little guy is grateful that he's at the shelter because he gets fed and watered regularly. How sad is that?

He doesn't know what it means to have a real home and lots of love. He's about 6 months old and we think he's a Lab/Shepherd mix but he has the markings of a small Rottie. He would make sure you knew how much he loved you forever, if you adopt him!

VERY VERY URGENT!!  AVAIL TO RESCUE NOW! !

65/67

66/68 What a sad story this girl has to tell. Her owners lost their home and had to bring her to the Pound. She is listed as a Chow/Lab/Shepherd mix and is spayed. She is also a bit chubby at 60# but would be a good companion to walk or play with. She may not be housebroken but LOVES children and is very friendly and appreciative of attention. Super disposition!!

This little pumpkin will only be $27 or $37 because she's spayed.

THIS GIRL COULD END UP BEING ADOPTED FOR DOG FIGHTING BAIT. THE SHELTER CANNOT REFUSE TO ADOPT TO THE PUBLIC AND SHE IS A BIG, CHEAP DOG.

VERY VERY URGENT!! .AVAIL TO RESCUE FRI, AUG 22nd

Aug 22ND, 2008: There are not many lost dogs in the Stray rooms. All are confused and scared. Husky, poodle, doxie, lab mixes, little dogs, big dogs, they're all here. If you have lost your dog in the last month or more, Please PLEASE come see if your dog is here. THE SHELTER NOW ONLY HOLDS STRAY DOGS WITHOUT LICENSES, MICROCHIPS, TATOOS for FOUR BUSINESS DAYS. HURRY!!!!!

If the animals in the Stray Rooms aren't claimed by their owner, they could be available for adoption if someone asks to have them moved up. If you don't see the perfect pet for you in the Adoption Room, please look in the Stray "Day of the Week" Rooms as well.

NOTICE: THE DAY OF THE WEEK ANIMALS ARE NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION.  THEY CAN NOT BE TAKEN FROM THEIR CAGES.

If you see an animal that interests you in the Day of the Week rooms , have the front desk verify when it will be available for adoption, it's age, breed and if it is spayed/neutered. Ask to have it moved up when the stray hold is up. If no one shows any interest there is no guarantee it will be moved to the Adoption Room. After it's stray hold, it could be taken directly to be euthanized .

If you have lost your dog, please GO TO THE SHELTER and look through the Stray Rooms daily or as often as you can. Fill out a "Lost" card and put it on the bulletin board. You are the only person who can truly tell if an animal is yours. No one can identify an animal from a description given over the phone.
