Friends of Genesee County Animal Shelter

Wish List

As an all volunteer organization, we rely on your generous donations to continue our work at the Genesee County Animal Shelter making improvements,  increasing adoption rates, helping to rescue shelter animals and supporting spay and neuter programs.

We are currently asking for donations to help with:

1 Adoption fees to save exceptional animals that are in danger of being euthanized at the Shelter and providing  help toward the  spaying/neutering/vet fees for these animals.

2 The purchase of much needed cupboards and countertop for supplies, as our Volunteer "Room" is very cramped and has little/no storage.

3 The purchase of vinyl coated, steel cage bottom "racks" to prevent toes, treats, legs from becoming stuck in the current wire cage floors. These will be very expensive, we hope to have a specific fundraiser for them soon.

4. Wall mounted Hand Sanitizers in the Cat and Dog adoption rooms, to prevent the spread of disease.
